Noodles and Tiny at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (rides)
Boys had a blast on the swing like fly around the air in a merry-go-round type ride. Glad they were tall enough to go together... They were definately all smiles!
Above and to the left was their favorite ride... Monsoon Falls... they got soaking wet! Look in row two... can barely see Tiny's hat and Noodles is in the white and green shirt... sitting next to them were my nephew Big E who was visiting from San Diego (in the red shirt - he is 17 and 6 foot 3!) and a friend Jun who is visiting from the country of Japan. They went on this ride 3 times! There was a way bigger splash than shown right but it is very hard to time the picture at the right moment. The spray actually goes over the bridge crossing if you are watching it there.
Noodles and Tiny at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (animals)
Bon Temps... Here is Noodles with his favorite animal at this particular park... the elephant... he thinks its trunk is really neat!
And here is Tiny with his favorite, the walrus... not very good pic of it as it was hunched over eating chunks of ice. He is not supposed to be sitting in the bubble window also... but I didn't move him till they made me cause he looked so cute!
And this was a beautiful white tiger... some reason they just look even more beautiful in white!

Marketti... Schmoom not the only one with a basketball
Marketti, guess Chet is not the only one who likes to run around playing with a basketball... This lioness at the amusement park was sure having a blast toting hers around...
Tiny's Garden Update - harvest time
Someone has quite a green thumb... Tiny is now at work harvesting in his little garden box again...
Here he is with a homegrown cucumber... he loves to eat them sliced up with ranch dressing... yum!!!!

Cheery Chum for my chum Desire
She didn't quite turn out the way I wanted her to... but I made chum bunny just for my farm chum Desire... Bunny turned out way skinner and taller than I planned... not very good at pattern making... but think she is pretty cute none the less. Hope you like her... would bring it to you if you lived closer... could mail it I guess but at least you can see her for now! Hugs and Kissess to my BFF (Best Farm Friend)

Jigglypuff- Momma Schmoo's first attempt at toy making
Okay, we all know Noodles made an ugly doll at camp. Then Tiny wanted one, so we made Batty and Noodles made a second one too. Then Tiny also has a frog and another one on the way. Noodles decided he wanted a jigglypuff to marry his storebought Kirby (shown below) so somehow Momma Schmoo got talked into trying to make it 3-dimensional instead of just flat so that Kirby would have a wife. Took three days and lots of patience but Kirby will now be getting married! Just hope they don't want kids any time soon!!!! P.S. - whole thing was hand-sewn!!!!!
All dressed up
Here are the boys all dressed up before heading out to the wedding. They were rockin' the hats... eveyone thought they looked very cool!...
Well except maybe that one girl... Desire... you know what I am talking about... lol girlfriend!!!!! so not worth any more of my time!!!!! Dunzo... out of mind!!!!

Uglydolls... so ugly they're cute!!!!!!!!!
Marketti!!!!!! They are finally here!!!!! The red one is the actual one that Noodles made at camp. But Since Tiny didn't get to make one, he sketched one out and Momma Schmoo decided to sew it for him. Noodles also decided to make himself a second one too.
They are having so much fun that we might be making a whole bunch more next week... until the novelty wears off... or they realize it takes a lot of time to sew them.Camp Galileo crafts exhibit
Friday was "Toy Story" day at camp. Campers and staff dressed as their favorite toy or character... Noodles loves Kirby so we made this shirt out of pink duct tape. Tiny wore a "Cars" shirt with "Lightning McQueen" on it.
Here we are in one of the science classrooms during Open House... Tiny is showing off the "car" he built from recycled cardboard, popsicle sticks, masking tape and clay. Noodles has a pinball machine he designed... note the bridge in the background. There is also a little clay car that can drive on the road using a magnet.
This is a game Tiny designed at camp. It has felt targets worth different points and he is using a dixie cup/spoon/popsicle stick launcher to launch a whiffle ball covered with velcro at the gameboard.
Tiny also shows off his hotwheel car playset he designed with recycled materials. They both had a great time at camp and can't wait to go again next year!
*Please see next post for Noodle's uglydoll that was also made at camp.

Summer Day Camp update
Wednesday was team color day- we made Noodle's shirt with silver duct tape for silver team and Tiny is wearing a red faux-hawk to go with his red t-shirt for the red team. Don't worry... it's just colored hair gel... already washed out in the shower!!! Also note the dog face painted on Tiny's cheek.
Tiny's turn on the slip n' slide for Thursday's splash day. Had lots of other stations to try but this was the one they were at when mom got there with the camera!!!
O.K. - as you can see... Noodles not quite as into getting water in his face as Tiny but big smiles none the less. Boys had tons of fun!!!!
Tiny is all bundled up since it was just barely warm enough to have a splash day. This is by no means normal weather for us here in California... trying very hard to blow this weather towards you guys (Maarketti, Pastas, and BIGREDDOG) as I know that you are all in the middle of a heat wave... litterally sucking in my cheeks and blowing... really... I'm serious!!!!! Hope this funny weather comes your way!!!!!!

Morning drop off at Camp Galileo
Here are the boys at morning drop off for summer camp. Tiny Schmoo is in the green sweatshirt and Noodles (Little Schmoo) is in the light blue jacket. It was their first morning for drop off since the moron brought traffic to a standstill on the freeway yesterday and made us an hour late!!! This is their third year going to Camp G. Tiny Schmoo is in the "stars" group and Noodles gets to be a "supernova" this year. The have three classes each day: science, art, and outdoor activities. Will be posting any projects they bring home but might have to wait till Friday since many of the bigger projects are kept for closing ceremonies (kinda like open house) and some of the projects they will not be taking home since they are developing teamwork by working in small groups or pairs. P.S. - funny seeing them in sweatshirts/jackets during July... this is not typical California weather!!!!

Pastas... here's the song from Phineas and Ferb
Phineas and Ferb funny song link - Pastas... Noodles (as Little Schmoo now wants to be called) uses your name instead of the word fossils in this funny song (well not much of a song but didn't know what else to call it)... so imagine the song but with your name instead. Quite funny when he does it. He is just enamored with you!
